Why are we going to help Puerto Rico...

After loosing 80% of agriculture and up to %50 infrastructure in most mountainous towns, people all around the island are committed to rebuilding differently, there's a big pull to learn share and apply sustainable living practices.

This project is born from that fire to bring to our beautiful island models of sustainability so we can, together, live in harmony with the land and its natural phenomenons.

Earthship Biotecture for many different reasons can be the answer to so many of the issues the island confronts in the face of a disaster such as Maria.

CasaBonuco Earthship will be, after completion, a Natural Educational Center for the community, where we hold space for education for the whole family and raise awareness in themes such as bioconstruction, beekeeping, permaculture, natural dyes, traditional folk crafts and music and so much more...

It will be a model eco community with the ability to duplicate around the island. Our goal is to continue to build these structures in the next years so that for hurricane seasons to come we can count with these oasis of safe shelter, water, power and food in areas where help doesn't reach.

Earthship Biotecture is going with few volunteers and local people to teach people to rebuild hurricane proof houses.

We will post everyday about the progress of the project, stay connected!
